A "personalized copy" of Dr. Boritt's new book was just hand delivered to me as a gift. I am so excited to begin reading it, that I know I will not be able to put it down until I have read through to the end!!
As a member of the Civil War Roundtable of NYC, I just wanted to congratulate Dr. Boritt on his winning the Round Table's Barondess Award for the best book on President Lincoln in 2006.
I look forward to his talk about the book at our meeting in February 2007.
