As I viewed the C-SPAN Book review/interview, an entirely new dimension of these historical events emerged. Dr. Boritt's research and presentation take you back to the events themselves...you feel as though you were there. Perhaps the study of history should weave and build an almost palpable sensory perception of the realities of the events, and if so, Dr. Boritt accomplished this, from the interview alone. I will now read the book to fill in and expand the experience.
